Cosby kid, actress Raven Symone, is headed to Broadway. Actress-turned-producer Symone is set to star in the hit musical ‘Sister Act.’
Symone nabbed the leading role, Deloris Van Cartie, in the musical and will be singing and dancing 7 days a week starting in March.
This will be Symone’s second time on Broadway. She made her debut when she was just five years old with the Boys Choir of Harlem. She’ll be using her vocal skills once again singing some of the memorable tunes from the original 1992 film.
From the Alicia Key’s produced play, “Stick Fly,” to Katori Hall’s MLK-inspired play, ”The Mountaintop,” black women have been experiencing success this year on the Great White Way.
