R & B singer Bobby Brown was arrested in California on Monday under suspicion of Driving Under the Influence of alcohol. Brown, the late Whitney Houston’s ex-husband and member of the group New Edition, was pulled over for talking on his cell phone while driving, against the laws of that state.
According to the California State Highway Patrol, Brown was given a breathalizer test which he failed, the result was a reading of 0.12. This is Brown’s second DUI arrest, the first was in Georgia in ’96. He spent a total of 8 days in jail on that charge. Brown is expected to appear in Richmond on April 28th at the Coliseum when New Edition returns to the Capital City.
