Here is the latest in the news:

There is a new health system in place for Richmond Public Schools. The school division has named  the initiative effort “Fit for Life”. As part of the initiative, Richmond students will be required to get wellness screenings in the third, fifth and ninth grades.

Pay stations are coming to the city of Richmond. Parking meters will be replaced with pay stations. The stations will accept credit and debit cards as well as cash and coins. The new pay stations will go into effect on April 23rd.

Governor Bob McDonnell is one of the most popular governors in America. He ranked number-ten according to a “Washington Post” poll. New York’s governor Andrew Cuomo is ranked number-one.

Floria special prosecutor Angela Corey says she “will fight the Stand your Ground defense in the George Zimmerman prosecution case. Corey announced during a press conference in Jacksonville, FLA Wednesday that Zimmerman is charged with second-degress murder in the death of 17 year old Trayvon Martin. Zimmerman will appear in court today for a bond hearing.
